I also shown her some back strengthening exercises on the bed but she asked me "Who say pregnant woman can do all these exercise?" I said its Doctor Khiat. Actually these exercises are really simple exercises and I'm pretty sure they will not hurt her. Its really not easy to get her to exercise but if she don't do it now, I think it will be too late by 3rd Trimester. Prayer will probably be the best we can do now so that the backache can be healed and it will not come back in months ahead.
For the past 1 week, she have been sleeping on her new makeshift bed in the room. There are 2 layers of mattress with a bed-sheet and quilt over it. To make her sleep better, I will turn on the air purifier and the humidifier for about 3-4 hours while she is sleeping. I will then turn on some classical music on my handphone and tap her to sleep. She said that the moment on this bed at night is the best moment of the whole day and she looks forward so much towards this nightly moment every day. We jokingly named the bed "安乐窝".
With this bed, Felin's back condition did improve. But the next challenge will be whether she can get up from the floor by the time comes 3rd Trimester. It can be too tiring for her.
Well.... No point worry so many things. Weekend is coming and its time to wind down from the stress that was gained over the weekdays. I unfortunately need to work on Saturday and its Church cum Cell Group meeting on Sunday. Hence, I will also need to do some housework on Saturday to prepare for Sunday's CG.
Not much chance for us to go out for shopping this week but we shall reserve our energy for the trade fair at Suntec City next week. Its time we look into what we need to buy to prepare for the arrival of the babies soon... More exciting things coming ahead...
