It was a really good break as we spent a lot of time with the boys and family. I just have to thank God for blessing our family all these while.
The boys are now getting tougher as they start to throw tantrum and while more often. Both boys are just so sweet. Josiah, the sociable one always try to strike conversation with others at the playground. His standard questions are: "What is your name?" "Where is your daddy and mummy?"... He always smile for the camera. But he is usually the more restless one and not so keen to sit quietly to do his colouring or practicing his chinese strokes and alphabets. He can be easily discouraged if he knows he don't know the words or alphabets, etc...
Joshua is still the observer though he is usually more quiet. He can look and focus longer and sit to complete his task given. He like to gives nonsense answers when you ask him simple questions. He won't smile for the camera if he don't have the mood to do so. He is less daring at the playground, probably he analyses more of his chance of falling, etc...
For now, I'm trying to encourage them to speak more mandarin, be more focused on their tasks and practice on their motor skills. Need to brush up on their phonics and calculation skills soon too. I think they are slightly below average in term of their academic and motoring abilities. Nope. I'm not trying to compare them with other kids. I just want to make sure they spend their time properly to learn while able to enjoy their childhood.
